Sony has added a new MP3 players to its Walkman range with the launch of the Sony Walkman E Series. The new Walkman E Series is just 9.3mm thick, it comes with a 2 inch QVGA color LCD screen, and a built in rechargeable battery which will deliver up to 30 hours of music playback and up to 6 hours of video playback.

Support for video file format conversion (If users have decoder software, other video formats can be converted)

The Sony Walkman E Series comes in a choice of either red or black and will go on sale later this month, there is no word on pricing as yet.
